**About the Role**

This job is with Amazon, a member of myGwork – the largest global platform for the LGBTQ+ business community. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Solutions Architect to join our team.

As a Solutions Architect, you will be part of a dynamic team that is obsessed with understanding customer needs and has the skills to partner with them in experimenting with new ideas that can open up new markets or radically change how they deliver existing products/services.

In this role, you will use your software development skills to develop prototypes using Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative IA, IoT, and Serverless Architectures. You will apply software engineering best practices that ensure the prototypes provide a foundation to production solutions.

**Responsibilities**

  • Architect, develop, test, and implement loosely coupled distributed software solutions.
  • Research and employ up-to-date technological developments in customer engagements.
  • Drive the AWS platform by aligning customer requirements with AWS service teams' roadmaps.
  • This role will focus on customers using AWS for research, development, and innovation.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 6+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
  • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle.
  • Programming experience with at least one modern language (e.g., Java, C++, or Python).

**Nice to Have**

  • Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.
  • Experience writing and publishing technical white papers.
