About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services. As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will work with customers in the LatAm region to modernize and optimize their applications to run on AWS cloud.

What We Offer:

  • BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
    • - BS level technical degree or equivalent experience (Computer Science or Engineering background);
    • - 8+ years of experience on large-scale software development or application engineering with recent coding exposure to two or more of the following languages: Java, JavaScript, C/C++, C#, Swift, Node.js, Python, Go, or Ruby;
    • - 5+ years of experience as a technical specialist in Customer-facing roles and technical leadership;
    • - Experience in architecting, designing and programming applications in an AWS Cloud environment, with serverless and containers.
    • - Ability to communicate in English and Spanish or Portuguese, in technical and business settings (verbal and written).
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    • - Experience leading projects in Refactoring, Re-writing and Decoupling applications;
    • - Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD);
    • - Experience with designing and building distributed applications with Hybrid Architectures for high available, secure and reliable systems.
    • - Experience with configuration management platforms (e.g., Chef, Puppet, Salt, or Ansible) and hands on familiarity with Infra as a code;
