We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Management Officer to join our team at IDB Invest. This role will focus on developing new business opportunities and leading client engagements in the infrastructure sector.
Key Responsibilities- Originate, structure, and negotiate complex structured finance transactions for infrastructure projects.
- Maintain relationships with local partners, including infrastructure developers, investors, government agencies, and industry associations.
- Develop credit enhancement products and catalyze funding resources from institutional investors.
- Provide local insight during origination and structuring processes, ensuring environmental, social, and corporate governance safeguards.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 4+ years of experience in loan origination and structuring complex structured finance transactions.
- Proficiency in Spanish and English, with additional knowledge of French and Portuguese preferred.
- Citizenship of Colombia or Peru, or a residency permit to work in either country without sponsorship.
IDB Invest provides a competitive compensation package, including:
- A salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum.
- A comprehensive benefits program, including health insurance, pension plan, and hybrid work schedules.
