About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team at LHR Americas. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and executing mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, and divestments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on target companies, analyzing their financials, operations, and market position.
  • Develop and execute business plans, including financial modeling, commercial negotiations, and transaction structuring.
  • Manage all aspects of transaction execution, including stakeholder management, advisor selection, and contract negotiation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Provide administrative direction in the development and review of legal documents, ensuring compliance with process stage gates and approvals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, or Finance from a recognized international program.
  • At least 10-15 years of experience in business development, with a minimum of 5 years in joint venture transactions.
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is advantageous.
  • Strong joint venture development background, with experience in financial valuation and modeling, due diligence, commercial negotiations, and transaction structuring.

  • Competitive monthly base salary, aligned with company employees with similar skills.
  • Monthly overbase of 25% of your monthly base salary.
  • Benefits supplement of 20% of your monthly base salary, increasing with years of service.
  • Severance package with a 2-year vest period, offering 2 weeks' pay for each year of service.
  • Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP) with a maximum purchase equal to 10% monthly base pay, with a 20% share discount.
  • Incentive plan based on annual performance.
  • Travel allowance, varying based on household member age.
  • Vacation and paid holidays, including 38 vacation days, 4 travel days, and 11-13 paid holidays.
