Cloud Service Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Service Reliability Engineer to join our Cloud Competency Center at Amadeus. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building, configuring, operating, and scaling over 200 OpenShift platforms in both public and private clouds.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with a global team of technology professionals to design and implement scalable and reliable cloud-based solutions.
- Bring innovative ideas and solutions to drive continuous improvement and deliver quick, frequent evolutions of the platform.
- Share knowledge and empower users and developers of the platform to ensure seamless integration and adoption.
- Deploy, configure, and operate PaaS (RedHat OpenShift) platforms in private & public clouds.
- Define and implement relevant monitoring and alerting and policies as code.
- Define and evangelize cloud-related optimizations and best practices to improve reliability, stability, and performance.
- Work closely with Architects and Software Engineers from various product teams to implement new initiatives.
- Conduct proof of concepts and studies to deploy new features to the PaaS platform.
- Work with the developer community to understand their business objectives and translate them into workable prototypes.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years relevant experience in operational service roles, and 1+ years' experience with cloud/PaaS and DevOps technologies.
- Experience running a sizeable environment (hosts).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in English is essential, both written and spoken.
