Salary Range

We are offering an estimated annual salary range of $80,000-$120,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

As a Business Developer, you will be part of our distribution team, responsible for sourcing, attracting, and signing new partners (artists and labels) in a constantly mutating environment. You will work closely with sales and account managers to identify leads and convert them into customers with passion, innovation, care, and transparency.

Your duties will include:

  • Sales and Sourcing Strategy: Support and execute the sales strategy and roadmap to drive business growth.
  • Lead Identification and Conversion: Identify and share best practices with the team and the group to improve lead conversion rates.
  • Network Development: Build and maintain an excellent network in the music industry based on reputation and quality of service.
  • Market Analysis: Apprehend the complexity of the local market and identify new business opportunities to initiate and close complex deals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record in sales and negotiations.
  • A deep knowledge of the independent music labels landscape.
  • A solid network in the music industry with a first experience in music distribution.
  • Fluent English is mandatory; French can be a plus.
