Job Summary

The selected candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all financial transactions are executed efficiently and accurately, adhering to established service levels and contractual obligations. This position involves managing tasks related to accounting entries into journals, ledgers, and other financial records. The individual will collaborate closely with the Senior Accounting Clerk and Staff Accountant to address and resolve issues while following up on outstanding items for the assigned accounts. Timely execution of month-end closing activities will also be a key responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

Service Delivery

  • Meet service delivery objectives based on SLAs with clients, focusing on quality and productivity.
  • Assist in the development and upkeep of process documentation for clients.

Operational Performance

  • Support the core monthly activities assigned within the finance and accounting functions.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and customer controls.

Innovation and Performance Improvement

  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency within the accounts.

Career Development

  • Engage with the designated training and development plan.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proficiency in English and Spanish (oral and written) at 80% or higher (B2 or above).
  • Technical degree in Finance or Accounting, or currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience Level: Entry-level, technical school graduates are encouraged to apply.
