Job Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing of accounting transactions, adhering to established service levels and contractual requirements. This role involves managing and resolving issues related to accounting transactions, journals, ledgers, and other records. The successful candidate will work closely with the Sr. Accounting Clerk and Staff Accountant to manage assigned accounts, resolve open items, and perform month-end close activities on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet service delivery goals based on SLAs with customers, focusing on quality and productivity.
- Assist in creating and maintaining process documentation for customers.
- Support the core monthly activities in the finance and accounting area, ensuring compliance with internal and customer policies and controls.
- Contribute to improvement initiatives aimed at gaining efficiency in the account.
- Meet with the assigned training and development plan to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- English-Spanish language proficiency (oral and written) at a B2 level or higher.
- Technical degree in Finance or Accounting, or current student of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- General knowledge of MS Office Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience level: No experience, technical school.
