About the Role

The Sales team at Kpler is looking for a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join their team as an Account Executive LATAM Energy/Maritime.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling SaaS/tech/data solutions in the Energy/Maritime industry, targeting LATAM markets, and will possess strong negotiation and closing skills.

The Account Executive will be responsible for owning the full sales cycle, including prospecting new business, developing opportunities, demoing the product, and closing sales.

Responsibilities
  1. Prospect new business and develop opportunities in the Energy/Maritime industry, targeting LATAM markets.
  2. Follow up on highly qualified opportunities at mid-sized and large companies.
  3. Build relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders to grow new business.
  4. Manage a portfolio of accounts, responding to clients' requests promptly and thoroughly, and meeting growth quotas.
  5. Work collaboratively with the global Sales team, product analysts, and market experts to build the best product in the market and close exciting deals.
  6. Provide accurate and up-to-date forecasts for any given month or year.
  7. Closed new business consistently at or above quota level.
  8. Help build and drive sales processes and strategy.
Requirements
  1. Experience in a Sales (New Business) role, selling SaaS/tech/data specifically in the Energy/Maritime industry targeting LATAM markets.
  2. Languages: native Spanish and business English (C1/C2). Portuguese is a big plus.
  3. Significant experience generating brand-new business sales opportunities.
  4. Experience selling into markets in any of the following sectors: maritime, logistics, commodities, energy, oil & gas, and power within LATAM.
  5. Driven and self-disciplined, with the ability to work in autonomy and thrive in fast-paced, ever-changing environments.
  6. A team player who puts the business first, with an eye on maximizing long-term gains.
  7. Strong sales negotiation and closing skills.
  8. Excellent customer service, listening, and negotiation skills.
  9. Ability to analyze complex client requirements and needs.
  10. Great attitude and motivation, with a hunter mindset.
