SAP Technical Service Manager (ECS RISE)

Program Overview

SAP Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) is a business unit within the Customer Services and Delivery board area, focusing on delivering managed cloud services. To provide exceptional customer experiences, we have a Client Delivery Management (CDM) team within SAP ECS.

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced SAP Technology Consultant to join our ECS team as a Technical Service Manager (TSM). As a TSM, you will play a critical role in supporting our customers' SAP S/4 HANA adoption and cloud transformation journeys. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a trusted technical advisor to our customers and partners, analyzing their business requirements and problems, and working across ECS and other SAP departments to provide quality services.
  • Understanding customers' business goals, challenges, and technical complexities to suggest solutions and services.
  • Identifying and positioning ECS offerings that deliver value to customers.
  • Providing comprehensive knowledge on SAP S/4 HANA architecture, conversion, migration path, methodology, and tools.
  • Understanding SAP high availability or disaster recovery architecture, network, and virtual technologies.
  • Experience and knowledge in SAP NetWeaver Administration, migration, and upgrades.
  • Identifying top issues, defining service plans, and driving implementation of identified action items across customer landscapes.
  • Understanding various SAP cloud solutions and integration scenarios of SAP systems with SCP, Ariba, SuccessFactors, etc.
  • Designing optimal SAP configuration to maximize system performance and availability.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Management.
  • Solid know-how on SAP Technologies and Products (SAP Basis, HANA, S/4), certification is highly beneficial.
  • Work experience with at least one hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, GCP), certification is a plus.
  • Analytical, solution-oriented, and experience in working with cross-cultural teams.

Work Experience

  • Minimum 6 years of total experience under SAP Technical Administration background (preferably in the domain of SAP Basis skill) and should have knowledge & experience on administration and operations of SAP solutions.
  • Among that, minimum 3 years of experience in customer-facing role and should have excellent command on de-escalating critical situations.
  • Hands-on experience with working knowledge of Unix/Linux flavors.
  • Hands-on experience with working knowledge of SAP HANA and Sybase databases.
