This Opportunity

Palladium is seeking a Regional/Amazon Fund Associate to join our UK PACT team in Bogota, Colombia or Sao Paulo, Brazil. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the management of day-to-day activities, project implementation, and stakeholder engagement to ensure overall programme success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the UK PACT Amazon Fund Manager in promoting UK PACT funding opportunities to potential implementing partners and project beneficiaries.
  • Contribute to the project screening and selection process, assessing deliverability and impact potential on the ground.
  • Support the UK PACT Amazon Fund Manager in overseeing timely implementation of projects and ensuring the feedback of results, impacts, and learning through quarterly reports to FCDO.
  • Support the UK PACT Amazon Fund Manager in advising on the potential to extend, scale up, or replicate successful projects.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated programme and grant management skills, with experience supporting the delivery and management of projects, grantees, or subcontracts.
  • Strong reporting skills with proven ability to contribute to client formal reporting and ad-hoc requests.
  • Strong understanding of environmental/climate change/low GHG emission sectors in the Amazon region, including policy landscape, local and regional relevant state and non-state actors, and low-carbon economic development.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the local political economy and business operating context in the Amazon region.
  • Strong organisational, inter-personal administration, and communication skills.
  • Professional fluency in written and spoken English.
