Key Responsibilities- Collect payments on invoices from customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with the brokerage team to ensure that customers receive accurate and timely invoices and supporting documentation.
- Generate debit and credit memos as needed to resolve payment discrepancies.
- Work closely with internal departments and customers to resolve billing, statement, dispute, and return issues.
- Perform in-depth analysis of customer payment patterns to identify and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Review large and high-profile accounts to ensure accurate and timely payment processing.
- Maintain frequent contact with internal and external customers to resolve payment and dispute issues.
- Ensure timely processing of requests for customer credit balances.
- Generate reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Broad training in business administration or a related field, typically obtained through a two-year degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- 1-2 years of directly related and progressively responsible experience in credit and collections or a related field.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of SAP and IES systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
