Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to join our team at adidas. As a Product Availability Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal supply chain management of our products, from purchase order confirmation to delivery at our distribution centers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Supply Chain Optimization: Provide the most optimal supply availability perspective to maximize product confirmation processes, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to our customers.
  2. Process Improvement: Continuously assess new opportunities to improve availability via a faster decision-making process, simplifying interfaces and operating rhythms with regional teams.
  3. Purchase Order Management: Manage Planned Orders (Pre-planned status onwards) until delivery at DC, leveraging strategic influence and collaborative work with Inbound & Customs teams.
  4. PO Adjustments: Drive and execute critical decisions related to PO adjustments, such as Early/Hold/Short/Air PP, and ship mode changes, based on country needs.
  5. Air Freight Requests: Manage Air Freight requests, including local approval processes, and revert decisions to Central Purchasing for consolidation and final submission to global.
  6. PAF Process Execution: Own the PAF process execution by timely updating, in conjunction with the Inbound Team, of all PO Current Delivery Dates, especially those without LA.
  7. PO Shipping Priority: Provide PO shipping priorities to Inbound Hub according to local business needs.
  8. SMAL Planning Meetings: Lead SMAL planning meetings to provide accurate availability regarding campaigns, align on action plans to mitigate delays, and confirm local campaign visibility to Central Purchasing.
  9. LAB Meetings: Lead LAB meetings (after Buy Plan execution) to provide anticipated supply visibility to channels and suggest required demand signal adjustments to maximize product availability.
  10. Supply Delay Reasons: Provide visibility with Central Purchasing about supply delay reasons, critical to support OTA/COTA/COTIF's Gap analysis.
  11. On-Site Support: Build on-site support to ensure smooth country E2E seasonal execution, leveraging validating and implementing critical processes like RIDs setting and SO/Fcst RDD guidance.
  12. Monthly Meetings: Participate in monthly meetings to share availability projections, monitor Key Launches, and align on market priorities to provide SCM team with critical info for planning purposes.
  13. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work cross-functionally across the supply chain organization (including local sourcing) and Back Office functions to achieve on-time and in-full deliveries.
  14. Critical Supply Chain Constraints: Identify critical supply chain constraints and determine actions to overcome delays together with Central Purchasing and the Inbound Hub, thus achieving customer and business expectations.
  15. Improvement Initiatives: Identify improvement initiatives across the region and implement best practices to improve availability and order book execution, thus achieving customer and business expectations.
  16. Landed Volume Projection: Provide visibility to the business and fulfillment center of landed volume projection (showing arrivals, goods in transit, what has been purchased, and what is pending to buy in terms of units and FOB per ex-factory).
  17. Purchasing KPIs: Track key purchasing KPIs to establish the proper connection with the regional team to guarantee the highest sales order and forecast coverage.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications
  • University degree or equivalent education required
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience, preferably in Supply Chain Management
