About the Role

Coupa is seeking a highly skilled Senior Change Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving the successful execution of change initiatives, enhancing business processes, and ensuring the organization adapts effectively to new strategies, technologies, and structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Change Management: Chair the regular change review board to evaluate and approve planned changes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Change Strategy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of comprehensive change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct impact assessments to understand the effects of changes on different departments and teams, ensuring effective communication and engagement.
  • Communication Planning: Execute effective communication plans to ensure that all stakeholders are informed, engaged, and supportive of change initiatives.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and resistance points related to change initiatives, developing mitigation strategies to address concerns and ensure smooth transitions.
  • Performance Measurement: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of change initiatives, conducting post-implementation reviews to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in change management, continuously refining and enhancing change management processes and methodologies to improve outcomes.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in change management, organizational development, or a related field, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale change initiatives in complex environments.
  • Change Management Expertise: Deep understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools, with familiarity with frameworks such as ITIL, ADKAR, Prosci, or similar.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create clear, persuasive, and engaging communications tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to assess the impact of changes and develop data-driven strategies to address challenges.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in change management or project management, such as ITIL, CCMP, PMP, Cloud certifications or similar, are highly desirable.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
