Job Summary

The Financial Systems Analyst utilizes advanced professional accounting expertise to address a variety of accounting challenges. This role involves executing monthly accounting close activities with a focus on complex and high-risk regions.

Responsibilities

Month End Close

  • Prepares and posts journal entries across a diverse range of transactions.
  • Conducts flux analysis to identify significant variances.
  • Prepares reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Implements SOX controls to maintain compliance.
  • Prepares PBC (Provided/Prepared by Client) documentation and collaborates with auditors.

Disclosures and External Reporting

  • Responsible for generating any additional regional disclosures required for Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting.

Management Reporting

  • Prepares month-end management reports to provide insights.

Business Partnering

  • Collaborates with upstream data owners, internal and external auditors, and the Global Process Manager to resolve a variety of accounting issues.

Process Improvement

  • May undertake assigned tasks related to project work as necessary.

Technical Accounting

  • Applies an in-depth understanding of general accounting principles when processing transactions.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Professional background in finance or accounting.
  • Advanced proficiency in English is required.
