Job Title: Air Import Customer Service Representative

At Expeditors, we're committed to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring timely arrival of freight. As an Air Import Customer Service Representative, you'll play a crucial role in monitoring freight and preparing shipping documents for final delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Monitor inbound shipments and ensure freight is made available for customers in a timely manner.
  2. Meet all Pharmaceutical & Healthcare requirements as per GDP/GDPMDS regulations and directives.
  3. Ensure documents and freight are turned over to customers' brokers in a timely manner.
  4. Trace flight delays with airlines and origins to provide timely feedback on arrival information to customers and the customer service team.
  5. Ensure all paperwork is in proper order, meeting customer profiles and complying with local rules and regulations.
  6. Achieve 100% customer satisfaction by understanding customers' needs and handling requirements.
  7. Enter data into the system accurately and timely.
  8. Bill freight and handling charges accurately and send billing invoices to customers in a timely manner.
  9. Closing inter-company settlements accurately within the company's specified timeframe.
  10. Prepare and submit reports as required.
  11. File PNCs promptly with parties concerned.
  12. Take on additional tasks as required to meet departmental needs.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of working experience.
  • Good working knowledge of computer software applications, including E-Mail, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Initiative and a positive, proactive demeanor.
  • Commitment to the job and work assignments given.
  • Good understanding of Customer Service culture.
  • Team player with the ability to work with various personalities across all levels of the organization.
