Accounting and Financial Expertise

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Electronic Arts Colombia. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial records, as well as providing financial guidance and support to our business teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Under the guidance of senior management, lead the accounting activities of EA Colombia, ensuring timely completion of monthly and annual closings, and the production of accurate journal entries.
  • Collaborate with local consultants to ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, and fiscal declarations.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve financial reporting and control, working closely with other support teams within the Group.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to business teams, ensuring effective management and control of their activities.
  • Support the implementation and standardization of financial processes, and contribute to the development of our finance team.
  • Manage cash flow and implement an internal control system to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our financial records.
  • Resolve accounting and financial issues, and collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support the development of our finance team, and contribute to the implementation of our global finance strategy.

Qualifications

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant with the following qualifications:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA-qualified or equivalent financial accounting studies.
  • Prior equivalent Controlling work experience with a multinational company.
  • Experience with month-end reporting deadlines and preparation of local statutory financial statements.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Familiarity with IFRS.
