Job Title: Legal Entity Controller

At Kenvue, we're looking for a skilled Legal Entity Controller to oversee the financial reporting process for our legal entities in LATAM. As a key member of our finance team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial statements, tax filings, and other reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gain a thorough understanding of each legal entity's jurisdiction and financial accounting procedures.
  • Lead the timely assembly, submission, and sign-off of financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow, and local tax requirements.
  • Review and approve complex journal entries prepared by accounting teams.
  • Oversee internal controls and introduce enhancements as necessary to safeguard financial information.
  • Liaise with BU Finance teams to understand trends influencing LE reporting and tax compliance.
  • Collaborate with Regional Controller, Consolidations, and Technical Accounting teams to address intricate accounting issues.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for Legal Entity audits.
  • Monitor local audits and provide necessary support.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree or CPA preferred).
  • 5-8 years of experience as a controller or similar roles, preferably in a multinational company.
  • Deep understanding of accounting principles, financial legislation, and regulatory standards.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
  • Strong analytical, strategic planning, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
