Regional Membership Manager, Latin America

Main Responsibilities:
  • Drive regional membership recruitment through a network of personal contacts in the creative industries across Latin America.
  • Build and strengthen Membership Committees in your cities, ensuring they are diverse and representative of the local community.
  • Foster the creation and hosting of regular events and experiences for CWH members across your region, promoting member engagement and the Soho House magic.
  • Execute a communications plan for your region, ensuring members receive relevant and regular content and communication.
  • Partner with membership leaders to prospect and recruit high-profile membership for your region.
  • Oversee and manage liaison in your cities, setting objectives and managing their performance.
  • Review all membership applications, ensuring approved members meet the quality and calibre for membership.
  • Ensure all internal admin processes are followed correctly and all members receive an introduction to Soho House.
  • Engage in considerable networking and outreach activity in your region to establish key local individuals, connectors, opinion leaders, and inspirational creatives to build brand awareness and attract new members.
  • Manage member behaviour, handling potentially difficult conversations and documenting notes of the conversations.
  • Gather intel on the make-up of the creative industries in your region, population trends, and challenges.
  • Take part in periodic conference calls or meetings with international membership colleagues to discuss current issues and brainstorm new ideas.
  • Be a Soho House brand ambassador, embodying our core values and bringing the Soho House magic wherever you go.
Requirements:
  • A network of contacts in the creative industries across Latin America, particularly in Bogota, Medellin, Lima, and Panama.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience of writing marketing emails, event copy, and press releases.
  • A charismatic, confident, and creative personality, ideally passionate in the creative verticals of fashion, art, music, and film.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently without a team.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage a complex workload and team across the region.
  • Experience of programming and/or producing events is a bonus.
  • A well-travelled individual with an educated worldview and a learned appreciation of different cultures, politics, areas, creative groups, and social scenes.
  • Daily use of the Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and other systems.
  • Experience in PR or marketing, with a background in building relationships, writing copy, and having a large network.
  • Flexibility to travel frequently around your region, as well as working late nights and weekends as and when required.
  • Eligibility to work in Bogota or Lima, with a permanent resident in Colombia or Peru (reside in Bogota or Lima for at least 5 years).
  • Fluent Spanish and English is required.
