Job Summary:

The Operations Support Specialist will provide leadership and direction to a team of employees, ensuring the seamless delivery of operations support services in alignment with Citi operations support infrastructure and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and mentor a small Operation Support team through delegating daily tasks and responsibilities.
  2. Conduct training, monitor quality and quantity of team work, and provide feedback on performance.
  3. Analyze operations information and make evaluative judgements to solve problems.
  4. Identify and resolve routine problems and operational issues within established procedures.
  5. Identify hiring needs to ensure adequate staffing.
  6. Serve as a backup for manager, as needed.

Requirements:

  1. 2-4 years of relevant experience.
  2. Direct line management experience in a call center or production environment preferred.
  3. Working knowledge of financial industry preferred.
  4. Proactive leadership and motivational skills.
  5. Proven organization and time management skills.
  6. Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Education:

  1. Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.

Spanish Responsibilities:

  1. Be the point of contact for clients within the framework of an assigned portfolio of clients, ensuring customer satisfaction through support and guidance in navigating the bank.
  2. Coordinate and follow up on the Onboarding process, account opening, and/or product implementation to ensure the client is operational.
  3. Provide support and follow up on client maintenance needs to ensure their operability.
  4. Ensure, together with the RM, the regularization of exceptions opened and registered within the CAN LIST.
  5. Notify the client of inconsistencies and rejections in MIFT operations received.
  6. Visit clients with the RM or PSC.
  7. Coordinate with internal areas the processes required for the development of client activity related to Banking, TTS, and Markets products.
