About the Role
VISA is seeking a highly skilled Software Asset Management Specialist to join our Corporate IT – Program Management & Business Operations (PMBO) organization. As a member of this team, you will play a critical role in the lifecycle management of workstation software assets for our global end users.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute efficient procurement asset services to ensure transparency, integrity, and compliance in software asset management.
- Derive meaningful operational metrics to align with OLA/SLA's across the function and manage continuous improvements in inventory management.
- Manage the procurement and license management of workstation software, including planning, monitoring, recording of entitlements, and reporting to ensure compliance with vendor contracts.
- Work with internal peers to ensure data accuracy and lifecycle management of software assets, and support the delivery of software to the End User community.
- Provide technological guidance in the development of internal and external processes and tools for workstation software asset and license management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology.
- 2 or more years of work experience in software asset management or a related field.
- Knowledge of software asset management lifecycles, inventory management systems, and procurement principles.
- Experience with tools such as Flexera FNMS, SCCM, JAMF, and BigFix.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage one's time effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in the Information Technology field.
- 2+ years of exposure to or experience with software asset management.
- Knowledge of workstation software asset management and discovery tools principles.
- Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) or Certified IT Asset Manager.
- Experience with IT service management tools and software delivery tools.
