Telesign's APIs link some of the largest global brands with their consumers, facilitating urgent and essential communications. Our Messaging Operations team actively analyzes global messaging trends, establishes optimal configurations for each client, and monitors message delivery rates alongside overall connectivity performance across various messaging routes.

Role Overview: As a Business Enablement Associate at Telesign, you will gain expertise in international messaging regulations, including sender ID registration, compliance standards, emerging trends, and omnichannel agent registration. The Business Enablement team plays a vital role in supporting Telesign's communication services. While the primary focus of this position will involve routine operational tasks with limited customer interaction, there will also be opportunities to contribute to significant initiatives and projects aimed at enhancing processes, automation, communication operations, and product design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the procurement, configuration, quality assurance, and deployment of global Sender IDs for clients.
  • Become proficient in international messaging regulations.
  • Proactively gather market intelligence regarding upcoming regulatory shifts in SMS and omnichannel messaging.
  • Evaluate Sender ID applications from clients, ensuring all requirements are met, and communicate any deficiencies.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of new and existing customer SMS applications and message content to guarantee compliance with acceptable use and country-specific messaging standards.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to testing, troubleshooting, configuration, and whitelisting of global Sender IDs.
  • Collaborate with Telesign's Carrier Partnerships Team as a compliance liaison between Telesign and our international SMS providers.
  • Engage in continuous improvement efforts to refine existing processes related to global Sender ID submissions, including both manual and automated enhancements.
  • Create and maintain customer-facing documentation that outlines global SMS requirements and country-specific guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with Product Marketing to ensure that customer-facing documentation is disseminated through appropriate channels with a tone that aligns with our brand.
  • Contribute to the ongoing upkeep of the Business Enablement team wiki.
  • Identify and articulate requirements for technical tools and solutions that enhance efficiency, visibility, and overall improvements. Maintain clear communication regarding project details and status within your team and across relevant business units.
  • Monitor the progress of Sender ID submissions to ensure seamless launches.
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive matrix of all Telesign short codes, services, and programs.
  • Continuously verify that all message content adheres to the latest carrier and Telesign guidelines, escalating any content issues to management as necessary.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the messaging sector, with a focus on integrating technology with Business Enablement, Carrier Relations, or messaging workflows.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Confluence, and Jira.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively conveying information to business leaders, clients, product managers, and engineers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical proficiency and experience with APIs are advantageous.
  • Experience in technology configuration management and logical problem-solving is preferred.
