Project Coordinator Senior

Scotiabank is seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator Senior to join our ScotiaTech team in Bogota, Colombia. As a key member of our Project Delivery & Support (PD&S) team, you will play a critical role in supporting various technology and business teams across the bank.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support management in scheduling, planning, invoicing, and forecasting financials for assigned projects.
  • Manage and review accruals and actuals, ensuring timely entry in relevant tools.
  • Contribute to the forecast process, aligning with Bank targets and driving KPI achievement.
  • Develop and maintain project delivery artifacts for management reviews and meetings.
  • Provide timely and accurate updates to project managers and leadership teams as required.
  • Drive best practices to increase efficiency, innovation, and value creation for the business.
  • Offer consulting services on project initiatives, including business case preparation and creative problem-solving.
  • Establish strong partnerships with Business Sponsors to understand requirements and manage product backlogs and benefits.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure business needs and project outcomes are met.
  • Participate in establishing project scope to ensure focus on delivery.
  • Support resource requirement identification and expectation management.
  • Create project plans and manage dependencies according to project team needs.
Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of project coordination/management experience.
  • Strong financial management experience with program/project budgets.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and analytical skills.
  • Advanced experience with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, with a focus on creating presentations for executive management.
  • Knowledge of project management tools and techniques, such as CA PPM, MS Projects, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
