Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Field Technician to join our team at Collins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company. As a key member of our Connected Aviation Solutions team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of duties, including servicing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and removing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and issues, and recommend actions to company or customer representatives.
  • Assess product needs in accordance with customer specifications.
  • Act as a local on-site representative to the customer's organization.
  • Provide data and service reports.
  • Respond to trouble calls from within the customer.
  • Identify and troubleshoot hardware errors.
  • Provide end-user assistance and training in applications usage.
  • Perform hardware replacement and run tests after solution implementation.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Possess 3 or more years of corrective hardware maintenance experience.
  • Experience with warranty repairs, and OEM logistics.
  • Experience with asset, spares, and consumables management.
  • Possess troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify hardware errors.
  • Trained in applications usage and provides assistance to end-users.
  • Ability to work with L3 to install and test fixes.
  • Understand SLAs, severity levels, and industry best practices.
