**Project Summary**:
This five-year Third-Party Evaluation and Monitoring Project will establish greater access to independent and unbiased information on the results, progress, quality, challenges, and successes of selected humanitarian assistance projects. This project will provide a wide range of verification, monitoring and evaluation services that will improve the quality of programming, enable real-time program adjustments, and increase accountability to beneficiaries. The project will confirm that assistance is addressing the urgent needs of target beneficiaries by conducting follow-up that applies Do Not Harm approaches and awareness of the trauma suffered by recipients.

**Please note: Only Columbian citizens are eligible for this position.**

**Position Summary**:
The Data and Information Management Specialist will support the project team’s data management and visualization needs. The Specialist will work with the team to help ensure data collection tools are structured to enable efficient management, aggregation and analysis of data collected by monitoring teams in the field each month. The Specialist will help devise innovative solutions to improve automation of data management processes and systems. The Specialist will be responsible for designing and maintaining user-friendly dashboards and producing graphs and GIS maps to support analysis and reporting. This position will be full-time, reporting to the M&E Specialist and working closely with MSI's Headquarters Software Developers and knowledge management team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support data management and cross-verification of data to ensure consistency with implementing partner reports.
- Manage incoming data sets generated by third-party monitoring activities, support technical teams on structuring and managing these datasets.
- Create graphs that facilitate understanding of the data and learning.
- Produce maps that visualize locations of third-party monitoring activities.
- Collaborate with the IT team at the Headquarters, COP, DCOP and M&E Specialist to design reports and dashboards with monitoring visit results and project management indicators.
- Work with project staff and project stakeholders to ensure that monitoring data is compiled into a database and available to stakeholders as needed.
- Support project staff to program data visualization.
- Provide training and technical assistance to help specific users access and use data and utilize dashboards.
- Assist the M&E Specialist and COP with other tasks as needed.

El especialista trabajará con el equipo para ayudar a garantizar que las herramientas de recopilación de datos estén estructuradas para permitir una manejo, agregación y análisis eficiente de los datos recopilados mensualmente por los equipos de monitoreo en los territorios. El especialista ayudará a idear soluciones innovadoras para mejorar la automatización de los procesos y sistemas de gestión de datos. El especialista será responsable de diseñar y mantener tableros de control fáciles de usar y producir gráficos y mapas para apoyar el análisis y la presentación de informes. El puesto de Especialista en Datos e Información es de tiempo completo, reportando al especialista de M&E y trabajando estrechamente con los desarrolladores de software de casa matriz de MSI y con el equipo de gestión del conocimiento.
