**Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization**:
Vantage Shared Services Center delivers high quality services for Finance and Accounting. In Bogotá we are opening a new SSC with the aim of serving Latin America and North America in several processes.

**Key Responsibilities and General Accountabilities**:

- Handle complex Customer Portfolio with high impact in the business
- Daily interaction with customers and internal stakeholders as it relates to collections, order release, setting of credit limits.
- Manage customer relationship, which includes problem resolution and root cause analysis, identifying and proposing solutions to area manager
- Assess & review the credit risk on the customer on regular basis, calculate and suggest the required credit limits
- Decide on the release of the blocked orders and ensure timely release
- Provide insight in the development of the accounts receivable position of the customer to sales and finance teams
- Act as the first point of contact for the process related issues and escalations
- Manage the relationship with customer service and other stakeholders in the business
- Identify the improvement opportunities and support their implementation
- Lead the process and improvement focused projects for Credit and Collections
- Support ongoing projects for the implementation of technology solutions
- Ensure the lowest possible write off for uncollectable balances
- Provide insight into the calculation of the required provision for uncollectable balances
- Support requests from partner Finance departments
- Establish and maintain strong financial controls over the work performed
- Acting as the backup for the Team Leader, supporting on day-to-day team organization and task allocation
- Support Manager in reporting area KPIs and following up on improvements implementation

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and good knowledge of cash collection processes are an advantage
- Ability to identify problems & find appropriate solutions
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow procedures and guidelines to successfully maintain a standard required
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills with the ability to deal tactfully, confidently, and ethically with both internal and external customers
- Computer literate and previous experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word is essential

**Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications**:

- Fluency in Portuguese (at least B2).
- 2 to 3 years relevant work experience in the accounting / business area
