Our Finance Team is looking for a Senior Treasury Analyst to play a crucial role in the local treasury activities, ensures that cash balances are appropriate for the organization's operations, performs the local settlement processing and ensures compliance with all applicable regulations.

**Job duties and Responsabilities**:

- Oversee daily operations of cash management, trade settlement and coordinate with HQ Treasury, and counter parties to ensure smooth settlement process
- Manage cashflows within the company, ensuring that cash balances are appropriate for the organization's operations
- Ensure there is sufficient cash to meet (regulatory) obligations for the settlement of (critical) transactions.
- Support and sets-up local initiatives to improve the global cashflows
- Checks and verifies settlement instructions for merchant volumes to be settle
- Checks and input settlement and payment instructions to banks/counterparties.
- Forecast daily and weekly settlements in advance to facilitate cashflow management.
- Formulate operational risk control measures and procedural manual and ensure proper adherence
- Check and ensure all reconciliations are verified accurately and timely.
- Check and ensure accurate and timely payment and collection for all money settlement by the scheduled date and time as per requirement of relevant exchanges
- Daily interaction with Treasury HQ, Controller and accounting teams, Operations, IT, and other key finance groups
- Coordinate with Local accounting and Treasury HQ on the implementation of new regulatory requirements and initiatives affecting Treasury related areas
- To ensure errors are minimized through a methodical and meticulous approach to work and by understanding and assuming primary responsibility for all aspects of their allocated daily processes
- To act as a team player
- Participate in various IT projects and User Acceptance Test relating to enhancement of in-house treasury system
- Consistently seek opportunities to improve processes, controls and procedures
- Work closely with operations to reconcile daily cash balances and resolve pending cash discrepancies as necessary
- Identify gaps in current practices with the goal of increasing efficiency
- Participate in system implementations and other strategic initiatives as needed
- Responsible for ensuring the integrity and completeness of all Treasury data (including required disclosures, schedules, and other information) provided to merchants and referrals.
- Interact with internal & external auditors and other regulators as necessary
- Ensure company compliance with our Treasury policies, including quarterly and annual reporting, compliance, and audit requirements
- Ensure compliance with policies and guidelines required by the Parent Company and relevant local legal regulations
- Perform reconciliation of bank statements versus Internal ERPs reports to guarantee correct balance of the bank accounts
- Banking relationship to support global product availability and operation not only in Colombia, but also in countries close to COL (i.e.: Ecuador, Costa Rica, Panama)

- Outstanding analytical skills
- Self-motivated, with ability to lead and drive change initiatives, can-do attitude
- Good organisational/time management skills, structural thinking.
- Ability to be hands on with high attention to detail but also not lose strategic standpoint.
- Willingness to work in a fast-growing company working environment and adapt to changes fast.
- Effective business partnering skills and ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
- Excellent written and interpersonal communications skills
- Ability to present ideas and concepts clearly to peers and senior management

**Knowledge/Abilities**
- Cash Managent (Forecasting)
- Previous experience in payment industry / fintechs
- Market awareness (Knowledge in Regulatory environment of payment processors, competitors, etc)
- Able to work with large amount of data
- Dealing with ad hoc queries from management
- Knowledge of foreign currency products, trading practices and markets, along with strong mathematical, analytical skills
- Effective business partnering skills and ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
- Strong understanding of economic and banking processes.
- Solid knowledge of local tax compliance regulations and reporting.
- Excellent knowledge in Excel (mandatory).
