The Treasury Sr Director will assume the responsibility of formulating and executing Rappi's Global Tax Strategy. This pivotal role entails comprehensive oversight and management of all tax-related affairs, ensuring strict adherence to tax laws and regulations across the jurisdictions in which the company operates. Furthermore, you will be tasked with implementing effective tax strategies to enhance the financial performance of the organization. Leadership in this capacity extends to overseeing a highly skilled global tax team that serves various lines of business, including but not limited to delivery, retail, and advertising services. Concurrently, you will spearhead engagements with external advisors, local tax authorities, and key internal stakeholders, fostering robust relationships concerning tax and fiscal matters.

**Responsibilities**:
Treasury Strategy and Planning:
Own treasury strategy across 9 countries

Develop and implement treasury strategies to optimize cash management, liquidity, and working capital.

Formulate and execute strategies for capital structure, debt financing, and investment management.

Assess and mitigate financial risks related to currency exchange, interest rates, and market fluctuations.

Cash and Liquidity Management:
Own daily, week, monthly and quarterly cash operations to ensure liquidity and covenants compliance.

Implement effective cash concentration, disbursement, and investment processes.

Debt Management:
Manage relationships with banking partners and financial institutions.

Evaluate financing options and structures to support the company's growth objectives.

Negotiate and manage debt agreements, ensuring compliance with covenants.

Optimize debt capital structure to minimize borrowing costs.

Risk Management:
Identify and assess financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks.

Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and hedging programs.

Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes affecting treasury operations.

Financial Reporting and Compliance:
Prepare and present comprehensive treasury reports to executive leadership and the board.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.

Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CTP certification is a plus.

Proven experience in a senior treasury role, preferably within the technology or startup industry.

Strong knowledge of financial markets, investment instruments, and risk management strategies.

Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills with a track record of delivering results.

Effective leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Familiarity with treasury management systems and financial modeling tools.
