So what does a Contracts Manager, Commercial Contracts really do at TaskUs?

Think of yourself as the person responsible for providing business-focused advice with respect to commercial contracts at the heart of our business, including business process outsourcing agreements, consulting agreements and technology agreements. You must be a dynamic, experienced and technically excellent contract professional with strong teamwork, business risk-assessment and creative problem solving skills. Imagine yourself working hand-in-hand with Sales, Operations and Management to analyze, drafting customer agreements regarding business process outsourcing services. As an integral part of the Contracts team, you must possess strong interpersonal skills, be able to build positive and lasting relationships and be able to effectively draft agreements which balance TaskUs' risk tolerances with client needs. You will demonstrate strong analytical skills and an ability to problem solve and think creatively, and you must be attuned to working with a sense of urgency and accountability. As Contracts Manager, you will be accountable for identifying, analyzing and evaluating risks in contracts and must be able to edit contracts quickly and in a manner that will be accepted by both our clients and our internal stakeholders. You work as a member of a team, take criticism positively, and seek process improvement. You will contribute to the development of contract lifecycle management best practices, which include providing reports and searches on TaskUs' CLM tool as required.

So, do you have what it takes to be Contracts Manager, Commercial Contracts at TaskUs?

**Requirements**:
So what exactly are we looking for? We need someone who has strong written and verbal English language skills, a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school in Colombia would be a plus, at least 4+ years of experience in a progressively more responsible contracts drafting and amending commercial agreements role, including business process outsourcing, consulting and commercial contracts CLM tools knowledge. Experience with hyper growth companies would be a great plus You will be supporting clients and stakeholders based in the U.S. so working during U.S. daytime hours. While work hours may vary based on client requirements and the urgency of negotiations, expect to work 8 hours per day between the hours of 7am and 7PM Central Time Monday through Friday. Being able to work or be available at unconventional hours, including nights or on the weekends to support global team objectives and meet urgent business needs may be required.

Critical competencies include being a highly analytical self-starter, with the acumen to build relationships across departments; providing timely and quality advice and direction to TaskUs constituents on contract governance, compliance, monitoring and providing regular reporting to internal department stakeholders on their specific risk controls; contributing to the development of contracting best practices, playbooks, CLM tools and process automation; networking effectively across teams to learn key risks areas and pain points for business operations; being a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills; taking initiative and doing whatever it takes to achieve objectives; demonstrating the ability to self-evaluate; understanding and utilizing the behaviors of others to personally influence an outcome; analyzing all aspects of a situation to make consistently sound and timely decisions; being able to facilitate mutually beneficial outcomes to satisfy various interests; combining knowledge, curiosity, imagination, and evaluation to achieve desired results; able to identify and resolve ambiguities; and having a strong work ethic and impeccable organization, and being a creative problem solver.

International travel may be required to support your role (up to 20% travel).
