What you'll do
We are looking for an experienced individual with a history of managing intricate projects and/or programs to support the CX Center organization. In this position, you will work with technical and business leaders across the organization to build, advocate, and gain adoption of project plans and strategies. This includes defining business goals and results, timelines, resource allocations, and success metrics. You will help our technical teams evolve how they work by collaborating on and providing structures that enable change that allows them to continue to grow their ability to deliver.
Who you'll work with
Our team provides program management support to the CX Center organization. CX Center is responsible for protecting the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information and computing assets associated with Cisco’s US Government and Trust service delivery, while enabling business efficiency. Our PMO partners with CX Center to provide program leadership, support project and portfolio planning, and drive business process improvements through a balanced use of the agile methodology and framework.
We are a diverse team of project and program managers who focus on building positive relationships with each other and the cross functional teams we support.
Who you are
- 10 years+ of demonstrated experience managing programs and/or projects
- Experience leading teams through Agile concepts, practices, and ceremonies such as Commits, Stand Ups, Demos, Retrospectives, etc
- Comfortable planning, completing, and delivering on multiple long-term projects with external dependencies in tandem.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects and resources simultaneously
- Ability and willingness to deal with a high level of ambiguity
- Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to articulate ideas and options to a technical and non-technical audience
- Experience using software development and team collaboration tools such as JIRA, Sharepoint, etc
- Seeker of opportunities for contribution and ability to show initiative when completing assigned tasks
- US Citizenship required due to US Government contractual requirements - No Green Card holders
