When you join Marsh as **LAC Affinity Product & Placement Lead**, you are joining an organization that will challenge you and invest in your professional development. As part of the LAC Regional Office you will work with the regional management and our local practices to help companies across LAC to develop and implement strategies and processes to serve their clients better.
You will be a strategic leader for grow our Business across LAC, overseeing Market Placement in 11 countries in the LAC Region. **What You'll Do**
- Be a product expert to direct support Regional negotiations in key target industries such as Auto, Sharing Economy and Voluntary Employee Benefits and support country Affinity practice leaders with enquires on their placement needs for specialist input and actions relating to clients and prospects.
- Create strategic planning for a variety of Affinity segments and products across LAC, working very closely with International Team & Country Leads to assess local opportunities and define go to market approach.
- Commercial Relationship Building with Insurers and Reinsurers at a regional / global level, with constant engagement leveraging the best options to our Clients.
- Drive Affinity product Innovation by explore new solutions and/or concepts with the insurance and reinsurance markets, collecting best practice from the local markets and influencing out of the box thinking.
- Lead efforts to build a data driven technical expertise to create new products and services, support terms and pricing optimization strategy for key portfolios, harness reinsurance capacity to explore innovative solutions for clients and prospects
- Ensure full alignment with the Placement teams from P&C and MMB (Health/Life) to maximize Marsh power in the market. Define Governance to maximize MMC Capabilities.
- Develop a master dashboard to provide KPI and strategically manage carrier network relationships.
- Support the development of standardized pitches for standard and seamless proposals.
- Lead the education effort of colleagues in LAC.
**Required **Qualifications**:
- 10+ years experience in the insurance industry. Underwriting, product development, placement and/or actuarial experience for personal insurance are critical. Experience with the reinsurance market is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience leading product development, personal lines product underwriting or consumer insurance placement.
- Fast learner and hands on.
- Credible executive presence. Excellent presentation skills, bot verbal and written
- Strong communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly
- Ability to develop structured and impactful presentation materials for discussions with business and leadership
- Proactive and can do attitude.
- Highly collaborative work style with ability to work in a team environment & independently
- Have a bias toward action and learning, and obsess over linking customer needs and experiences with the right and most creative solutions in the market
- Fluent in English and Spanish. Portuguese is a plus.
- Bachelor degree in relevant discipline is required.
