**Job Description**:
This position will be responsible for increasing market penetration in the Colombia. Also will be the primary contact with key accounts, providing overall support, business solutions, brand orientation, products and services to these clients.
**Responsibilities**:
- Business Development with Banks, Fintechs, Issuers or Acquires
- View new business opportunities, analyzing Client’s profiles, products’ profile as well as their strategic moments, with the purpose of offering more adequate products to the necessities of the partners and increasing their business volume with Visa.
- Identify, recommend and implement business alliances that will lead to the improvement of clients’ results.
- Increase the participation of VISA in the way of payment business through negotiation with new markets, prospects and other companies.
- Monitor competitors’ activities, fusions, acquisitions.
- Select the business opportunities through permanent contact with the clients, as well as consulting companies and the market.
- Search within the banks the possibility of success for new products and services.
- Implement new products and services through close relationships with the parts involved in all projects.
- Maintain close contact with VISA Inc. and LAC Region in order to search for solutions for the most critical problems, as well as to follow business movements that could be offered and applied to the banks.
- Attend the specific needs of the Banks, sharing with VISA teams the clients’ knowledge with the purpose of assuring their satisfaction with VISA products and services.
- Look for information and data with the acquirers that could solve existing problems, as well as identify new business opportunities.
- Execute short and long term strategic plans for his/her clients. Ensure that such plans adhere to Visa mission statement of increasing Clients’ profitability, strengthening the partnership within them and also being in conformity with Visa Inc. overall strategy.
**Qualifications**:
- 6+minimum years of professional experience
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
- Business Development experience preferably in the banking, or financial industry
- Credit card industry experience
- Strong analytical skills (ability to identify tendencies, forecasts, etc.)
- Advanced spreadsheet modeling skills
- Extensive knowledge of Excel PowerPoint and financial systems
- Bilingual English and Spanish (proficient verbal and written)
- Presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills (ability to interact with several teams simultaneously)
- Detailed and numbers oriented
- Project management skills preferred
- Knowledge of LAC region preferred
- Graduate degree preferred
