Job Description

Reporting to the Global Data Operations leadership, the Global Data Operations Manager leads clinical data managers and operational tasks within a Data Management Center. This role involves ensuring quality processes, managing staff workload and development, fostering collaboration between the Data Management Center team and business partners to achieve common goals.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Direct Line Management of clinical data managers
  • Developing career plans
  • Assigning work tasks
  • Conducting skill assessments
  • Conducting annual performance reviews
  • Providing coaching and continuous feedback
  • Offering rewards and recognition
  • Setting priorities
  • Providing growth opportunities
  • Ensuring training compliance
  • Escalating issues to appropriate leadership as necessary
  • Enhancing functional efficiency by supporting process simplification and standardization efforts, sharing best practices, and participating in continuous improvement
  • Participating in Business Excellence Networks
  • Contributing expertise in meetings through presentations
  • Staying informed about process and technology changes
  • Supporting other projects or tasks as assigned by management

Internal Candidates Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, computer science, or a healthcare-related field
  • Minimum 3 years of Clinical Trials experience
  • At least 1 year of People Management experience
  • Proficiency in English and Excel
  • Open to various organizational departments
  • Strong people management skills
  • At least one year in current position

External Candidates Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, or related fields
  • Knowledge of clinical research or Pharma Industry
  • Minimum 3 years of Pharma Industry experience
  • 2 years of People Management or Team Leadership experience
  • Proficiency in English and Excel
  • Interest in AI or Machine Learning
  • Skills in clinical development processes, leadership, and project management
  • Strong organizational, communication, negotiating, and problem-solving abilities
