What you will be doing

  • Analyze shipment documents received/transmitted from/to World Courier offices and request amendments if necessary.
  • Communicate with World Courier offices to ensure shipments comply with Customs Regulations.
  • Guide customers on completing shipment documents and provide support on delivery/pickup schedules and customs rules.
  • Schedule pickups/deliveries based on shipment details, carriers, and deadlines.
  • Keep all parties informed about the shipment process.
  • Create shipment orders in the World Courier system.
  • Interact with customers through various channels, recording interactions in the system.
  • Maintain and update system reports and tasks that need attention.
  • Adhere to World Courier procedures, suggest improvements, and collaborate with the team to implement best practices.
  • Coordinate replenishments with relevant parties to maintain the cold chain per procedures.
  • Instruct operations teams on shipment requirements, labels, schedules, and temperature controls as per customer needs.
  • Inform import stakeholders about arrivals, ensure proper storage, and update all involved parties.
  • Monitor temperature control and address any issues promptly.
  • Identify and report shipment issues, delays, trends, and areas for improvement.
  • Attend meetings with internal/external teams and assist in new team member training.
  • Act on critical shipments promptly.

The scope of responsibilities may extend beyond the above tasks as needed.

What your background should look like

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Mandatory:

  • Graduate in Business, Logistics, or International Trade.
  • 2-3 years of customer service experience in logistics/international business.
  • Proficiency in Office and Windows.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Courier Operations and Customs/MOH Regulations.
  • Experience in Pharma Industry/Clinical trials logistics, perishables, and cargo air transportation.

Language Skills:

  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
