ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED

  • Responsible for inbound shipments and ensuring they are stocked timely.
  • Takes customer orders and records them into the electronic system.
  • Ensures that customer orders are shipped in a timely manner.
  • Interacts with thirdparty logistic providers to ensure quality of service to customers.
  • Point of contact to solves customer and commercial team concerns regarding shipments, product delivery, etc.
  • Verifies the accuracy of paperwork, such as commercial invoices and certificates of compliance, from the Customer Service Department.
  • Resolves issues and problems with outbound shipments.
  • Main contact for customer service and related logistics matters.
  • Oversees all warehouse activities are following the contract.
  • Assists RA&QA and manager with various responsibilities.
  • Implement meetings to review 3PL performance based on aligned KPI ́s

SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education and experience equal to at least a high school diploma required, with one or more years of post High School education preferred.
A minimum of six years of previous customer service experience required.


Knowledge of various computer software programs including Word Perfect, Quattro Pro and Paradox, and the ability to learn and understand new computer software programs.

Ability to become skilled in the use of Merit's autoCAD software within one year of employment required.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and make decisions quickly and accurately.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
