Job Description:

Essential Functions/Core Responsibilities

  • Perform standard reconciliations/analysis between US GAAP books and local GAAP books and develop permanent audits of transactions and processes.
  • Identify and report discrepancies between local and corporate books and determine alternative courses of action keeping evidence of permanent/temporary differences.
  • Perform data analysis of the balance sheet and PnL accounts by using financial software and tools to determine variances, trends, discrepancies.
  • Check completeness, reasonability, and mathematical accuracy on accounting transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, policies, and industry regulations.
  • Supervising, preparing, verifying, and maintaining financial records, including journal entries and general ledger accounts.
  • Support and supervise the information submitted to the local tax authorities or other controlling governmental entities.
  • Transfer pricing knowledge
  • Payroll analysis abilities
  • Assisting in the training and development of junior accountants, providing guidance on best practices and resolving complex accounting issues.
  • Collaborating with auditors and assisting with financial audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • All round knowledge of company operations
  • 5 years of experience in a Sr. Accounting role
  • Degree in Accounting with preference of postgraduate in IFRS
  • Preferable prior experience in Audit firms or Multinational companies
  • Effective written and verbal communication capabilities both in spanish and english to facilitate clear and concise financial reporting and collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Exceptional eye for detail and accuracy in maintaining financial records and reports.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
  • Analytical and problemsolving abilities.
