The function of this position is to maintain general ledger accounts, deliver finance reports such as cost analysis, PL per Business and related activities to produce financial statements and reports; also performs account reconciliations and analyses, prepares journal entries and reviews accounting classifications, in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS.

Involved in the monthly/quarterly "close" process; and prepares documentation in support of external, internal audit and make sure all local requirements for accounting are full meet on time.

  • Solves moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses.
  • Works with mínimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks.
  • Translates concepts into practice.
  • Provides explanations and information to others on difficult issues.
  • Acts as a resource for others with less experience.
  • Lead finance process and partnership with corporate areas such as a Real State, Accounts Payable and Accounting.
  • Record and Analyze Financial Transactions
  • Prepare and Analyze Financial Reports
  • Ensure Compliance with Applicable Policies and Regulations
  • Support the Audit Process

Required Skills:

  • Certified Public accountant in Colombia or finance degree
- knowledge & understanding of US GAAP and IFRS with a minimum of five years in General Accounting (Multinational environment a plus)

  • 4 years of previous experience in accounting (multinational environment plus)
  • Proficient in English language
