Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in technology related sales or business development working with the public sector or technology.
  • Experience working with government and municipalities across the Caribbean Region.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Spanish fluently.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience building strategic business partnerships with enterprise customers. 5 years sales experience in the public sector.
  • Experience working with partners in complex implementation projects including global system integrators and packaged software vendors.
  • Experience with complex commercial and legal negotiations working with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams.
  • Ability to work with sales engineers and customer technical leads to inventory existing software estates, define migration plans, and build business cases for migrations.

You will leverage existing relationships with C-level executives, develop new relationships and act as a business partner to understand the company issues and goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Build executive relationships with public sector customers. Influence strategic direction and serve as a business partner.
  • Manage the business cycle, often presenting to Clevel executives in the public sector.
  • Lead account strategy in developing business growth opportunities, working with Customer Engineers and Google Partners to optimize business results in territory.
  • Understand each customer's technology footprint, strategic growth plans and business drivers, technology strategy and landscape.
  • Drive business development, forecast accurately and achieve strategic goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.
