Ashland has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Representative to join our Ashland Colombia business at our Bogota City Office. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Customer Service function. This position will report to LATAM Customer Service Supervisor.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Customer Purchase Order Administration (record new customer purchase orders, monitor sales order status, resolve any issue in sales orders, verify product availability, follow up deliveries and billing)
  • Support Account Receivable Area (be in contact with customer if there is overdue invoices in order to schedule open deliveries)
  • Process customer complaints.
  • Review and process the setup for new customers or request a customer change in our system.
  • Receive and process credit and debit notes.
  • Receive and process credit notes for returns.
  • Assertive communication with internal and external customers.

In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in administration.
  • 3 years or more in supply chain working in customer service area.
  • 1 year or more working with SAP System.
  • Fluent English.
  • From 30 years old.
  • Demonstrated responsible and ethical behavior at all times
  • The ability to help the company drive greater value through understanding the business, making complex decisions and creating the new and different.

  • Experience in customer service supporting the chemical sector.
  • Well organized, resilient & auto motivated.
  • Team builder.
  • The ability to have a high tolerance.
  • The ability to adapt easily to the changes.
