Join our Technical Division - Network Dept as a NOC Support Technician Tier 1/2. This urgent role is essential for maintaining the high standards of network health and performance our clients expect.

Position Overview:
As a NOC Support Technician, you will monitor and ensure the optimal performance of our network infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include identifying network issues, performing basic troubleshooting, and escalating complex problems to ensure rapid resolutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Monitoring: Consistently monitor network health, document alerts, and identify anomalies.

Troubleshooting: Conduct basic network troubleshooting and deploy software updates as needed.

Communication: Liaise with internal departments regarding license expiration and renewal for platforms such as Meraki and Sonicwall.

Network Audits: Audit network information as per client IT/Network book and identify end-of-life devices.

Documentation: Ensure all clients have an updated network IT book; create new ones as necessary.

Escalation: Send timely escalations to higher-level NetOps Analysts or Technicians regarding network issues.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in IT or a related field, or 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA preferred.
  • Experience with network management tools like UniFi, Omada, Cisco Meraki, PRTG, or Nagios.
  • Knowledge of network software updates and license management for platforms like Meraki and Sonicwall.
  • Familiarity with Datto DNA and Networking is advantageous.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Teams and Planner for task management.
  • Understanding of Autotask Ticketing System for incident management is a plus.

Experience:

  • 12 years in technical support or help desk roles within a network environment, preferably in a NOC.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform network monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Established history of attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently.
