About the Role:

You will work closely with our internal customers on the LATAM Community Operations Program Team to plan and execute on their strategic plans and goals, partnering to build new efficiencies and happiness among our Rides customers.

You will play a meaningful role in helping our internal partners understand such as areas as Footprint, Performance Management and Continuous Improvement.


You will partner with other members of our Global Network Team on common interests such as the best practice-sharing, risk and vendor management.

As this scope includes vendors in various countries such across Latin America, there is an expectation of travel >40% annually.


What You'll Do

  • Manage daytoday performance of the BPO vendors for Rides and other Safety programs for LATAM
  • Partner with key internal partners on projects, program performance and continuous improvement of Safety programs
  • Play a key role in growing LATAM's business, partnering with other regional vendor operations managers
  • Play a key role on the larger Americas Vendor Operations team, managing a complex network of sites across LATAM
  • Develop strong relationships with internal program teams that require Global Network resources to enable their strategic goals

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 2 years of Vendor Management experience in a global footprint/delivery environment
  • At least 5 years of support operations management experience
  • Highly developed analytical and reporting skills, as well as fast decisionmaking
  • Highly resultsfocused, excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to influence in complex matrix environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • English and Spanish/Portuguese Proficiency
  • Ideally based in Colombia or Mexico City or willing to be relocated.

  • Experience at Uber
  • Experience handling a network of onshore and offshore sites
