The HR Payroll Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payment of employees by carrying out necessary payroll processes and procedures in strict compliance with Schlumberger guidelines, employment regulations, and country legislation.

  • Be accountable for end-to-end payroll processing according to global and local Schlumberger standards.
  • Collaborate with Transactions Analysts to ensure accurate capture and maintenance of employee data impacting payroll in a timely manner.
  • Ensure seamless integration of payroll-related data from Schlumberger internal applications into the payroll system.
  • Verify correct coding of all pay elements including Taxability and Admissible Compensation.
  • Perform checks, controls, variance analysis, and reconciliations before finalizing payroll.
  • Obtain payroll final approval and release salaries within set timelines.
  • Ensure timely submission of third-party payments and maintain payment acknowledgments for audits.
  • Coordinate with HRPS teams, third-party providers, and service providers for efficient payroll processing.
  • Address employee queries related to payroll in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines and maintain audit-quality payroll records.
  • Follow escalation procedures for incidents and report HR service quality events.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Tax, and Legal departments to ensure compliance with local legislation for payroll deductions.
  • Generate reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Handle GL posting and provide support to Finance when necessary.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support audits of the HR/Payroll database.
  • Raise tickets for system enhancements and participate in service delivery meetings.
  • Record monthly payroll KPIs for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and champion for assigned topics.
  • Prepare yearly payroll calendars and training plans for management review.
  • Review and update documentation regularly.
  • Prepare and maintain training material and deliver knowledge sharing sessions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, BBA, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Payroll.
  • Proficiency in English (Intermediate level).
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel.
  • Interest in HR, specifically Transactions and Payroll Operations.
