Our Import/Export Customer Service Operator within Stolt Tank Containers is an operational/customer care role.

You will be responsible for responding to customer logistics requirements, organizing the loading and discharging of customers products and managing relations with Stolt vendors.


RESPONSABILITIES:
Follow operational processes to ensure that vendor instructions are accurate and communicated in time.

Manage day-to-day operational emergencies and inform Operations Supervisor/Manager of any serious incidents/accidents.

Identify and address supplier problems and generate alternative solutions, when necessary, in your control.


Recording events related to supplier complaints and contributing to the identification of the root cause and corrective and preventive measures.

Checking the processing of movements/shipments and tracking orders.


Ensure all extra costs are communicated and billed to customer efficiently and in a timely manner, maintaining profit margins on each shipment.

Ensure that all Operational Key Performance Indicators are achieved within Stolt performance standards.

The Operations coordinator should have good standard of Education.

A minimum of 2-year industry experience and knowledge of operations, track, and trace, and communication with steam shipping lines.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Must be ethical, detail oriented, and able to prioritize and set goals.
  • Fluency in English. A local third language (Portuguese) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in operational roles.
  • Adaptable and flexible
  • Strong communication and problemsolving skills.
  • Team focused but also be able to work independently.
