Description:


The Account Manager would be responsible for designing and implementing business and marketing strategies in the territory in order to achieve the best possible inventory turnover for distribution channels, appropriately positioning of specialty products and achieving aggressive growth.

This position will be based in Bucaramanga.

Activities:

  • Ensuring the fulfillment of sales goals for both Crop protection and Seeds in their territory.
  • Collaborating with the credit department as a team to establish credit lines and required deadlines based on the growth projection and crop cycles of the different crops served in each area.
  • Monitoring the inventory of emblems/distributors/clients to establish product rotation strategies, ensuring that the emblems/distributors/clients always has product available to meet demand, and conducting quarterly closing negotiations.
  • Defining the strategy in their territory to achieve sales growth targets in both specialty and commodity products at the dealers/end users level.
  • Identifying growth opportunities in the territory and seeking resources to develop them.
  • Maintaining constant monitoring of sell out results to promptly and effectively address any factors hindering the achievement of our objectives.
  • Ensure that the company's strategy and portfolio are clearly understood and implemented.
  • Train the demand generation and sales force team on Corteva ́s portfolio and the competencies required to carry out successful work.
  • Develop semicommercial trials of products that are in the launching phase to gain indepth knowledge of the new product, train the sales team and field promoters, and define strategies that will enable the team to be successful in positioning it.
  • Continuously monitor prices and provide the company with timely information for informed decisionmaking.
  • Ensure compliance with the budget for promoters' expenses and zonal activities.

  • Problemsolving abilities: Aptitude for identifying and resolving salesrelated challenges and obstacles.
  • Strong negotiation skills: Proficient in negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms with clients.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing market conditions, industry trends, and customer demands.
  • Team management: Competence in recruiting, training, and managing a sales team, as well as providing guidance and support to team members.
