Purpose of Role

The main purpose of this role is to control the end-to-end trade investment management process, ensuring we have the right phasing of both, commercial investments and payments , that we are in line with approved budgets, and providing visibility on possible risks of over and/or under execution via reporting and analytics.

The role is responsible for collecting, auditing and posting support documentation provided by the commercial teams , and use it as evidence for processing the payment of commercial activities within the different trade investment management tools available in the region. This information will develop monthly P&L and M&E analysis, ensuring budget control and expense performance.

The trade investment controller acts as a partner to other functional areas to support commercial decisions and maintain a shown control, and works very closely with the trade investment analyst in providing high quality information as input for every new commercial cycle plan. Through the generation of reports, they will provide awareness of the company to make decisions based on facts and will identify possible deviations or risks to the working capital agenda.

The role is also responsible to extend capabilities through the whole Latin America markets while crafting new services and standards to drive convergence with global services, as well as carrying out process improvements based on their expertise and the best practices from other regions

Qualifications and Experience Required

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Finance/Engineering of related field

Minimum 2 years of work experience, preferably in finance, commercial finance, commercial planning

Budget tracking and control management

Strong analytical skills

Customer focused attitude and difficult stakeholder influencing.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Strong MS Office (Excel + Power BI

System skills (SAP knowledge)

Proficiency in English language (oral and written) B2+
