MELSA is conducting the mid-term evaluation of the Inclusive Justice Activity. The Inclusive Justice (IJ) Activity aims to facilitate justice service access for citizens living in rural and violence-affected areas. The Activity has the goals of reducing impunity, expanding justice service access, and promoting trust in the justice system.
As part of the mid-term evaluation team, MELSA seeks a qualitative specialist. The following are some of the key responsibilities and requirements for the position.
Responsibilities:
Review the baseline design and relevant documentation to build the baseline findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
Review coding reports (inputs and qualitative visualizations) to analyze qualitative information.
Conduct qualitative analysis for the reports and presentations mentioned in the deliverables, with corresponding qualitative evidence attachments. This encompasses the process of triangulating information with the corresponding quantitative and qualitative analysis to answer each of the evaluation questions, as required by the baseline leader.
Perform qualitative visualizations in Nvivo, as required by the evaluation leader, as well as those for presentation, reporting and construction of findings, conclusions and recommendations.
Support the team in the preparation of reports and presentations for USAID and the Implementing Partner. This includes the necessary participation in the final report and presentation, in terms of qualitative analysis.

Como parte de la evaluación de desempeño de medio término de Justicia Inclusiva de USAID, MELSA busca un especialista cualitativo. La Actividad de Justicia Inclusiva facilita el acceso a los servicios de justicia para ciudadanos que viven en zonas rurales afectadas por la violencia. El programa fortalece la persecución penal, juzgamiento y reparación de crímenes de alto impacto, y amplía el acceso a la justicia de calidad a través de servicios estatales y mecanismos comunitarios de resolución de conflictos. Justicia Inclusiva también incrementa la confianza en el sistema judicial colombiano, mediante la reducción de la impunidad, un mejor acceso a los servicios de justicia, y un mayor respeto por el Estado social de derecho
A continuación, se presentan algunos requerimientos y responsabilidades clave para la posición.
Responsabilidades:
Revisión del diseño de la evaluación y de la línea de base, así como de la documentación relevante para construir los hallazgos, conclusiones y recomendaciones de la línea de base y de la evaluación.
Revisar los informes de codificación (insumos y visualizaciones cualitativas) para analizar la información cualitativa.
Revisar y proporcionar la retroalimentación de ser necesario a los productos del equipo de codificación para garantizar su calidad.
Realizar el análisis cualitativo para los reportes y presentaciones mencionados en los entregables, con los anexos de evidencia cualitativos correspondientes. Esto abarca el proceso de triangulación de información con el análisis cuantitativo y cualitativo correspondiente para responder a cada una de las preguntas de evaluación, con base en lo requerido por el líder de la evaluación.
Realizar las visualizaciones cualitativas en Nvivo, según lo requerido por el líder de la evaluación, así como aquellas para la presentación, el reporte y la construcción de los hallazgos, conclusiones y recomendaciones.
Apoyar al líder del equipo en la preparación de informes y presentaciones para USAID y el socio implementador. Esto incluye la participación necesaria en el informe y la presentación final, en cuanto al análisis cualitativo.
