Accounting Assistant at TMF GroupTMF Group is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Accounting Assistant, responsible for supporting the company's accounting and financial management while ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Accounting records: perform accurate posting and reconciliation of financial transactions in the company's systems.
- Closing support: assist in monthly and annual closing processes, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements.
- Regulatory compliance: analyze and apply relevant accounting and tax legislation, keeping information up to date.
- Client management: administer a portfolio of clients, delivering timely and professional service.
- Quality of delivery: ensure excellence in deliverables by reviewing and controlling information before submission.
- Effective communication: maintain direct, clear, and professional contact with clients and managers.
- Policy compliance: work in alignment with company procedures, standards, and internal policies.
- Confidentiality: safeguard sensitive and strategic information at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare bank reconciliations on a weekly basis (via Alteryx).
- Prepare sales invoices according to the client's requirements and subsequently validate their electronic transmission.
- Perform periodic reconciliations (at least once a month) between Prime-DIAN-DX for supplier invoices.
- Generate, on a periodic basis (at the end of the workweek), supporting documents and correct validation of their transmission.
- File, keep organized, and update the digital archive of the clients assigned to you.
- Identify new third parties (Supplier and/or Client) and refer to the Accounting Senior Assistant.
- Run the process of depreciations, amortizations, foreign exchange differences, and accounting estimates during each period.
- Record, control, and update balance sheet accounts and generate the necessary reports for these items according to the deliverables schedule of the assigned clients.
Key Requirements
- Professional in Accounting/Finance or related areas.
- Experience in BPO/SSC/Centralized delivery models.
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in accounting.
- Proficiency in accurate reconciliation of reports and accounts.
- English language skills (B1).
