Overview:

At Pond, we are seeking a Senior Architect with experience in developing architectural projects under U.S. codes and regulations. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in preparing architectural designs, drawings, and bid packages, following design guides and templates, selecting materials, and developing construction details that ensure understanding of these elements and construction methods. This role also involves mentoring and supporting the professional development of junior and mid-level architects, as well as collaborating on proposal preparation. Success in this role requires solid knowledge of residential, hospitality, and industrial projects.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare architectural designs, drawings, and bid packages following project design guides and templates.
• Select materials and develop construction details, ensuring understanding of these elements and construction methods.
• Develop design projects across multiple markets and geographies, strengthening technical knowledge and skills.
• Actively participate in all design phases, from concept through construction documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of proposals and bids.
• Guide the professional growth of junior and mid-level architects.
• Adhere to company design and drafting standards to ensure consistency and quality in all deliverables.
• Contribute to a collaborative work environment while meeting project deadlines and quality expectations.
• Interact with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to achieve project goals.

Education and Experience:

• Professional degree in Architecture.
• Professional license.
• More than 10 years of relevant experience in architectural projects under U.S. codes and regulations.
• Experience preparing architectural designs, drawings, and bid packages, following design guides and templates, as well as selecting materials while ensuring compliance with codes and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of residential, hospitality, and industrial projects.
• Proficiency in standard industry design software, such as Revit and AutoCAD.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) for collaboration with international teams and clients.
