What You'll Do

As a Senior IT Architect, you will work closely with case team members to assess and coach our clients' IT teams, define IT strategies, architecture solutions and apply your technical know-how and understanding of business contexts. You will be responsible for owning the delivery for a specific project "module" and help develop technical concepts for that "module". You will coach other project members and help lead other consultants in their own work stream when possible.  

As part of our BCG Platinion consulting team, you would work on a variety of technology topics, applying your architectural consulting skills to strategic technology questions.  You will be supported by an extensive training curriculum (the same programme as all BCG consultants), plus technology-specific training and mentoring to help you build your skills. 

What You'll Bring

Experience:

• 6-8 years of experience in IT architecture, solution design, and technical project management, with a proven record of delivering complex IT solutions and system integrations.

Technical Skills: 

• Solution Architecture Design: Skilled in translating business needs into technical solutions, including requirements gathering, conceptual architecture, and detailed technical blueprints. (Considering all of these experiences the evaluation of different options).
• System Integration Expertise: Proficient in designing and implementing scalable, high-availability solutions integrating multiple systems and applications.
• Technology Stack Proficiency: Hands-on experience with enterprise software platforms, middleware, APIs, FrontEnd Architecture and Microsoft architect and microservices architecture. Familiarity with cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Standards and Best Practices: Knowledge of IT governance frameworks, compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, DORA), and regulatory requirements to ensure secure and compliant systems.
• Infrastructure Design: Experience in infrastructure automation, scalability planning, and disaster recovery strategies. (Devops, Server Less) y Iac

Desirable Expertise:

• Enterprise Systems Knowledge: Exposure to ERP, CRM, and other enterprise-grade software systems across various industries such as Banking, Insurance, Energy, or Telecommunications.
• Emerging Technologies: Understanding of DevOps practices, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and AI/ML-powered solutions for system enhancements.
• Governance and Optimization: Ability to establish and enforce policies around resource optimization, system performance monitoring, and cost management.
• Security Strategies: Familiarity with implementing security protocols and tools for continuous monitoring, vulnerability assessment, and threat detection.

Interpersonal & Leadership Skills:

• Analytical Mindset: Capability to evaluate complex IT ecosystems and recommend optimization strategies.
• Communication Excellence: Strong verbal and written skills to effectively liaise with business and technical stakeholders.
• Leadership and Mentorship: Experience guiding development teams and collaborating across departments to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Industry Experience:

• Proven experience working within industries such as Banking, Insurance, Energy, or Telecommunications, delivering tailored IT solutions that meet sector-specific requirements.
