General Description

The role of the Business Development Manager is to identify, qualify and close sales opportunities for digital services and custom digital solutions within the Colombian market (and other Spanish speaking markets as required). The ideal candidate is a person who has not just built their own very successful track record in sales and business development, but has the ability to uncover client pain points, create solution visions that motivate clients to engage CI&T to solve, manage the sales and internal solution development process which ultimately leads to compelling proposals that solve complex business and technical problems resulting in closed contracts and new revenue.

You have a strong grasp on B2B solutions and services sales and an understanding of the role business development plays in lead generation and lead qualification.

What you'll do

Conduct prospecting for qualified leads (organic and CI&T sourced), build pipeline of new, well qualified business opportunities, develop and lead the sales strategy on specific opportunities and manage the prospect to successfully close new business

Work closely and collaboratively with the marketing and regional leadership team to develop and implement appropriate prospect communication plans

Drive (and develop as required) capabilities presentations or pitches for target prospects

Conduct needs-based discovery assessments and present insights to specific prospects leading to material new opportunities

Collaborate with SME's within CI&T's Growth Units to help them expand their clients within Colombia (and other Spanish speaking markets as required)

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Colombian market

Identify and research potential prospects/clients

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers in the industry

Coordinate and lead the sales engineering team and the appropriate Growth Unit to develop mutually beneficial proposals

Negotiate and close contracts with clients and ensuring customer satisfaction and retention

Monitor and manage legal team to ensure contracts are executed as agreed

Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, product, and delivery, to provide feedback and insights from the market and customers

Gather useful information from customer and competitor data to develop and implement differentiated sales strategies

Make and give presentations to prospective clients and internal executives

Create and implement processes and policies to support the overall business

Track, identify, cultivate and add qualified prospects to the sales pipeline

Develop and manage strategic local partnerships to grow business

Track and report on the status of proposal components

Drive the end-to-end sales process

Coordinate with solution engineers and marketing

Prepare and submit proposals, SOWs and sales contracts

Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote our brand and services

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following attributes:

5+ years B2B sales experience within a professional services or consulting organization

Track record of success landing and expanding client within the Colombian market

Strong communication skills, engaging a variety of prospects and stakeholders to drive successful outcomes

Fluent in Spanish and English

A strong sense of self-motivation

Proven ability to think of creative solutions in the face of opposition
